February 13th 2010:

Life living softball isn't all that different from just living life. The things we learn from softball turn into life lessons. After pitching at least 3 times a week this winter our hard work is finally starting to pay off, fast balls are starting to be more consistantly fast, change ups are starting to consistently drop before the plate and inside, and outside pitches are starting to come together. We had all the puzzle pieces and now the puzzles almost complete. In life certain things and people are your inspirations, that's the same with softball. Dad's are the guys that catch for you early in the morning and hit pop ups to you when your mitt isn't quite broken in, their the guys that soft toss it to you before a big game, we are so thankful for all that they do. Moms are the ones that stand in the crowd cheering you on, even when your not doing so hot, we are so thankful for all that they do. Coaches are honest and sometimes show us a little bit of tough love, other times they say just the right things, we are so thankful for all that they do. Teammates never leave, their there when you are doing great or horrible, their there to pat you on the back or give you a hug when you need one, we are so thankful for all that they do. These inspirations inspire us to keep going and working our tails off. We love all these people so much and we feel the need to inspire them too. In life there are some important calls to be made, and that's the same with umpires. Sometimes they make a bad call but you have to realize we all make mistakes, if you don't than you have to be a carrot! Now do you see how a Life Living Softball is a lot alike with Just Living Life ?
